Two trucks collided this morning at 0620 (6:20AM) on Old Northport Road. One vehicle was carrying construction debris while the other was hauling ready-mix concrete powder.
One driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center.
A fluid spill as a result of the accident was contained using speedy dry from 4-2-5 and sand supplied by the Smithtown Highway Department.
On scene were Chiefs 4-2-31 (Hansen), 4-2-33 (Murphy), Engine 4-2-5, Ambulance 4-2-61, and First Responder 4-2-81.
