Each year each Company must complete hose tests on their apparadus. Although Company 7 is the Hook and Ladder company, they still carry hose and are prepared to attack a fire if needed.
Hose testing follows NFPA guideline. Each company is responsible for inspecting their hose, nozzles, couplings and appliances.
Each company must also preform a pressure test to make sure all hose can withstand high pressure water flow without leaking or bursting.
