A signal 16/23 (Ambulance Requested/Motor Vehicle Accident) with an overturn was toned out to the Smithtown Fire Department at 02:29 with the location of 37 Brooksite Drive.
A one vehicle accident with a car striking a tree and overturning in the southbound lane resulted in the driver and two passengers requiring medical attention. One patient was transported to St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center while two additional were taken by ambulance to the Stony Brook University Medical Center.
The condition of the patients is unknown.
On scene were Chiefs 4-2-32 (Sisino) and 4-2-33 (Murphy) Rescue 4-2-9 and ambulances 4-2-61 and 4-2-62.
